PT 647 - Pediatric Practice Management

Prerequisites, physical therapy major, PT 536, PT 536L, PT 546, PT 546L, PT 689 and PT 692 or PT 693. This lecture course prepares physical therapy students to meet entry-level physical therapy to pediatric clients in all practice settings. Patient examination, evaluation, goal setting, and intervention will be discussed in relation to commonly encountered pediatric diagnoses. Environmental, cultural, legislative, and legal issues that affect the delivery of care are explored. This course includes lecture and lab components held at the same time. Letter grade.
