PT 536L - Functional Human Neuroscience I Lab


Prerequisites, enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, successful completion (with a grade of C or better) of PT 510  and PT 525 . Corequisite, PT 536 . This course uses a systematic, problem-solving approach to provide a foundation in the anatomical structure and physiological function of the normal and injured nervous system, with an emphasis on the central nervous system. Students will develop sufficient knowledge of neurophysiological and neuroanatomical principles to comprehend basic nervous system function.  These interactive laboratory sessions will require students to think critically and apply their knowledge to clinical scenarios as well as case studies of pathological conditions of the nervous system. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) ½ credit
