TWP 474 - Advanced Web Video Production

Prerequisites, FTV 130 , or FTV 130A , or FTV 130B , or FTV 130C , or FTV 130D , or FTV 130E , or FTV 130F  or FTV 130G  and Dodge College major or consent of instructor. TWP 374  recommended. This course introduces students to a new generation of filmmakers who are earning six and seven-figure incomes and landing studio development deals, A-list Hollywood agents, book and record deals and more because they’ve mastered the art and business of web video. An examination of web videos across a wide range of categories, from social activism to branded entertainment, from comedy to horror. Students will create and produce episodes of a series based on their potential to be monetized. Letter grade. Fee: $300. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
