POSC 331 - The European Union

An examination of the government and politics of the member states of the European Union. Topics include the history of economic reconstruction and European integration after 1945, the core institutions of the EU, policy areas such as enlargement, the democratic deficit, and legitimacy, and debates about the desirability and form of a European constitution.
