POSC 315 - Campaigns and Elections

An examination of the electoral process within the American political system. Topics include voting and suffrage, the history and effectiveness of political parties, the impact of interest groups and political action committees on elections, campaign finance reform, the role of public opinion and the mass media during campaigns, and possible election reforms.
