MUS 459 - Practicum in Elementary School Literature and Pedagogy

Prerequisites, pass MUS 231, MUS 233, MUS 235 with a “C” or better, or consent of instructor. Study of literature and materials appropriate for K-8, including the most recent materials used in elementary and junior high classrooms. This course includes a lecture and required laboratory component held at different times, as well as a fieldwork requirement. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
