PRA 360 - Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity


Prerequisites, two of the following courses: PRA 219 , PRA 230 , PRA 231 , or consent of instructor. Requires application and interview process as well as sophomore standing. This three-unit, 11-day travel course (plus two on-campus classes prior to departure and one class after departure) takes students to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in Cannes, France. This is one of the most prestigious and well-known events in the advertising, marketing and communications industries. Students will learn about the latest trends as well as network with renowned global agencies and brands. The festival comprises five days of continuous activities including speaker sessions, live judging, nightly award ceremonies and more. Additional days will be spent exploring other cities in the south of France to gain cultural awareness and context that can impact how one thinks about advertising and marketing. Letter grade. Fee: TBD (Offered summer session.) 3 credits
