AVE 379 - Advanced Techniques and Technologies for VFX

Prerequisite, AVE 369. The third in a three-course series on procedural Visual Effects advances students’ expertise in a production-focused instructional setting. By engaging in hands-on, project-based learning, they will navigate real-world challenges and workflows including advanced workflows in particle simulations and procedural modeling. They will master advanced techniques that will enable the creation of production quality portfolio samples for entry into the workforce. Letter grade. With consent, this course may be repeated for credit. Fee: $75. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
