TH 389 - Directing II - One Act Play Production

Prerequisites, TH 100, TH 170, TH 388, theatre, theatre performance, junior standing. BA Theatre majors must also complete TH 373. This course continues the practical examination of the craft of play direction. It continues production techniques as an essential part of the overall subject. The student director solves specific conceptual and production problems by directing scenes. Emphasis is placed on play analysis and structure. Each student will have an opportunity to direct a one-act play. Letter grade. (Offered spring semester.) 1-3 credits
