PT 638B - Musculoskeletal Practice Management II: Upper Quarter


Prerequisites, PT 535A , PT 535B , PT 536 , PT 536L , PT 546 , PT 546L , physical therapy program, consent of instructor. Corequisite, PT 638A. This course is the fourth in a four-part clinical course series designed to prepare the DPT student to be excellent with management of musculoskeletal disorders. This series emphasizes an integrated examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention approach and this course focuses on musculoskeletal disorders of the upper extremity, cervical spine, head and thorax. Coursework is designed to integrate clinical reasoning to make clinical decisions based on clinical judgment. This course includes a lecture and required laboratory component. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 1 credit
