PT 640 - Neurologic Practice Management

Prerequisites, enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, PT 510 , PT 510L , PT 511 , PT 512 , PT 512L , PT 521 , PT 522 , PT 522L , PT 523 , PT 523L , PT 525 , PT 525L , PT 527 , PT 530 , PT 531 . Corequisites, PT 643 , PT 643L . Theory and principles of motor control and motor learning will be applied to the management of the patient with neurologic dysfunction. Neuro-facilitation and task-oriented approaches to examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention will be investigated. This course includes a lecture and laboratory component. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 5 credits
