EDUC 543 - Integrated Pedagogy and Systems Thinking

Prerequisite, admission to the Teacher Credential and/or Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT), or Special Education Teacher Credential program. Candidates will explore systemic sustainability in the context of historical and cultural epistemologies. Systems thinking will be used to design curriculum that: a) addresses state and national standards and b) integrates multiple content areas including science, social studies, visual and performing arts, and physical education. Letter grade. (Offered every semester.) 3 credits
