CSP 639 - Advanced Positive Behavioral Supports

Prerequisite, CSP 502 or EDUC 566. The purpose of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to develop both systems-level and individual behavioral intervention. Student will learn to (a) identify and assess problem behavior in school settings, (b) design and implement behavioral support plans for persons with serious behavioral problems, (c) design and implement comprehensive classroom and school wide positive behavior support plans, (d) monitor and evaluate implementation of systems-level and individual behavior support plans. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
