CSP 604 - Aging and Long-Term Care


Prerequisites, admissions into the graduate program in School Counseling or School Psychology or consent of instructor. This course examines the biological, social, and psychological aspects of aging including changes in health, relationships and issues related to medical, financial, housing and long-term care. Also included is the growing problem of elder abuse and neglect, including warning signs and assessment for abusive situations. Some sections of this course may be offered as hybrid courses or online only. Pass/No Pass. (Offered as needed.) 1 credit
