EDUC 589 - Secondary Teacher Inquiry, Professionalism, and Wellbeing

Prerequisite, admitted to the teacher credential and/or the master of arts in teaching program. Corequisite, EDUC 583. This course is grounded in exploring topics of inquiry that come directly from learners’ experience as student teachers bilinguals, parent-teacher communication, professional ethics, professional engagement in organizations and within school districts, resume design and interviewing techniques. Teacher and students’ wellbeing will be an overarching theme. (Offered spring semester.) 2 credits
