EDUC 550 - Evaluating Teaching Performance Expectations

In this course candidates will review the Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs), which are elements of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) 2042 Teacher Preparation Program Standards. Multiple and single subject credential candidates will examine the following domains: making subject matter comprehensible to students; assessing student learning, engaging and supporting students in learning; planning instruction and designing learning experiences for students; creating and maintaining effective environments for students; and developing as a professional educator. During the course, multiple and single subject credential candidates will complete the teaching performance assessments (TPAs), which are required by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
