The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Special Education (MA SPED) in the Attallah College of Educational Studies offer an integrated program option for undergraduate students that enables them to begin taking M.A. course work in the senior year of their bachelor’s degree program, thus lowering the number of credits to be completed post-baccalaureate and thereby the cost of the master’s degree program. The integrated option is designed principally for students from across the university who are interested in pursuing a teaching credential in a special education content area. This option offers selected exceptional students a seat in Chapman University’s MA in Special Education program and makes them eligible for scholarship money awarded to outstanding, incoming master’s students. Admission is highly selective. Refer to the Graduate catalog for MA in Special Education for further information.
