The Minor in Music Technology is designed to give students an exposure to a variety of technology related courses. These courses will deal with computers, software and equipment necessary in music technology environments.
Students earning a B.M. in Composition are not eligible for this minor. Students earning a B.A. in Music, a B.M. in Performance (all emphases), and a B.M. (Pre-Music Education Certification) both emphases, are eligible for this minor but must substitute for MUS 128 and MUS 230 with 6 credits of music technology courses that are not part of the major degree program.
Admission process: Contact conservatory chair to determine if it possible to complete the minor in time to graduate. If it is, you will be placed on the pre-minor list. After being placed on this list, you will be eligible to submit the form to declare your major.
