ENTR 460 - Creativity and Innovation for Entrepreneurial Enterprises


Open to all junior or senior ACBE majors, ACBE minors, Entrepreneurship Minors. This seminar explores the principles of creativity and innovation at the industry, organizational, and individual levels, examining how businesses develop and sustain competitive advantages in dynamic environments. Students will analyze case studies of successful and failed innovations in both high-tech and low-tech industries, with a focus on applying advanced problem-solving strategies to traditional sectors. Through experiential exercises, research projects, creativity challenges, and presentations, students will develop critical thinking skills, enhance their ability to generate and evaluate innovative ideas, and learn to navigate the complexities of bringing creative solutions to market. This highly interactive course prepares students to drive innovation, adapt to change, and apply creative strategies in a variety of professional settings. Letter grade. (Offered every year.) 3 credits
