TH 322A - Performing Shakespeare

Prerequisites, TH 111, TH 112, BA Theatre, and junior standing. This course provides students with a fundamental approach to playing Shakespeare. Particular emphasis will be placed on a rhetorical approach to text and punctuation utilizing Shakespeare’s First Folio as the key to unlocking the text in a presentational actor/audience experience. Letter grade. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
