HUM 203 - Leading Your Life, Managing Your Career


Explores the career planning process, equipping students with vital career development skills to effectively assess, articulate, and secure professional career opportunities and manage one’s career over a lifetime, including transitions and dual-career lifestyles. The class will be activities and workshop-based. Topics include career development assessments, work-life balance, developing an awareness of interests and strengths, initial career strategies (targeted resumes and cover letters, networking, interviewing skills, LinkedIn profile), building your brand, and responding to change and dealing with setbacks. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered every semester.) 1 credit
