TH 221 - Introduction to Theatrical Makeup

Prerequisites, Theatre major, GE Artistic Inquiry, or consent of instructor. Students study various techniques, tools, and professional products to create characters through makeup in the entertainment industry. This course teaches students about essential highlight and shadow, character makeup design, old age, fantasy, and injury makeup techniques. Theatre students are advised to take the course in their first and sophomore years. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
