AVE 247 - History and Aesthetics of Animation and Visual Effects

Prerequisite, AVE major, or visual effects minor, or game development programming minor. Some sections may be open to non-majors. A historical survey of animated film and alternative media including 3D cinema, interactive media, immersive media, special effects cinema, and other non-traditional forms that augment and transcend photographic motion pictures. Letter grade. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
