POSC 375 - Public Policy Process

(Same as ENV 375.) Prerequisites, POSC 101 or POSC 110 or ENV 102. An examination of how public policies are proposed, adopted, implemented, and evaluated. Topics include the structures and processes of public policymaking in the U.S., major substantive policy areas, as well as the historical and contemporary explanations for policymaking. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
