POSC 343 - Constitutional Law: Civil Rights and Liberties


An examination of American constitutional law with particular emphasis on the protection of civil rights and civil liberties. Topics include the freedoms of religion, speech, press and assembly; the rights of criminal defendants; economic rights; and the right to equal protection of the laws. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
