FREN 353B - Topics in Historical Tours: A Literary History of the French Riviera and Provence

(Same as HUM 353B.) A segment, or the entire course, will be taught on location in the South of France. Both the French Riviera and Provence have inspired writers and artists from Fitzgerald, Pagnol and Daudet to Cezane, Cbagall and Picasso. Students will explore the region’s rich history and literature. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. Fee: TBD. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
