TH 345 - Musical Theatre

Prerequisite, consent of instructor. This course will introduce and train actors in the performance style necessary for acting in musical theatre. It will include an overview of various musical theatre performance styles, and exploration of the performance of solo numbers and duets, a unit on scene work as it leads to musical performance, and directed performances. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
