TH 322 - Acting Shakespeare I

Prerequisites, TH 111, TH 112, theatre performance, or screen acting major, junior standing. Course sections are designated by degree programs. This course provides students with a fundamental approach to playing Shakespeare. Particular emphasis will be placed on a rhetorical approach to text and punctuation, utilizing Shakespeare’s First Folio as the key to unlocking the text in a presentational actor/audience experience. Sections may be designated by degree track and/or class standing. Letter grade. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
