COM 210 - Theories of Persuasion


A survey of advocacy from Aristotelian principles to contemporary practices.  Students will evaluate and apply an interdisciplinary array of persuasive messages, theories, and techniques, considering the ethical implications of their use or misuse. Some sections of this course may be offered for communication studies and/or strategic communication majors only. Letter grade. (Offered every semester.) 3 credits
