MKTG 409 - Consumer Behavior


Prerequisite, MKTG 304 , or MKTG 305 , with a minimum grade of C-. Consumer Behavior studies consumers as social beings, within families and organizations, as well as acting as individuals. In addition to purchase decision making, this course examines consumer experiences, and the rituals and patterns often associated with products and services. Consumer behavior borrows tools and theories from all the social sciences, and this multidisciplinary approach is an integral part of this course. Letter grade. (Offered every year.) 3 credits
