SCI 502 - Research Writing and Communication

The objective of this course is to develop the skills of graduate students early in their career in both written and oral scientific communication. The course will seek to help students address the question: “What makes a compelling scientific presentation?” Students will identify common pitfalls in scientific communication and develop the skills needed for successful professional communication. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
