CPSC 544 - Information Retrieval and Knowledge Representation

This course provides an in-depth treatment of the algorithms, data structures, and models used to search and retrieve multi-modal data at an Internet scale as required in contemporary general and domain-specific search engines. In addition, representation schemes for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data will be explored. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
