PHRM 525 - Pharmacist Care Delivery I

Prerequisite, PHRM 523L. This course series provides students with opportunities to apply and integrate concepts from the previous therapeutic courses of the CUSP curriculum in order to provide patient care services in various settings. Students will be expected to apply the Pharmacist Patient Care Process (PPCP), utilize drug information and evidence-based medicine resources, and demonstrate effective communication and various patient care skills during weekly course activities. The goal of the Pharmacist Care Delivery course series is to help further develop student readiness for and success during Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences. Graded. (Offered every year). This course includes a lecture and required laboratory component. Numerical grading. (Offered every year.) 3 credits
