PHS 627 - Instrumental Analysis I

Corequisite, PHS 627L. The course focuses on the theory and applications of analytical techniques in biochemical, biomedical, and pharmaceutical sciences. Students will learn about major laboratory techniques including Chromatography, Proteomics analysis, Cell imaging, Mass-Spectrometry, and other methods. This course is designed to provide students with the basics and theory behind these useful laboratory techniques, to learn about data analysis, preparation and presentation of the results, and the preparation of scientific reports based on the obtained laboratory results. Letter grade. (Offered fall semester.) 1 credit
