TWP 512 - Writing the Animated Pilot

Prerequisite, TWP 627 and TWP 628 or consent of instructor. Building on the student’s previous narrative writing experience, this course provides an intensive study of writing for primetime adult animation such as King of the Hill, Family Guy and Bojack Horseman. Students will learn about plot, structure and characters, then apply this information to create their own animated pilot scripts. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 3 credits
