PHRM 531 - Integrated Therapeutics: Psychiatry/Neurology

Prerequisites PHRM 601, doctor of pharmacy major. This course is designed to introduce students and provide them with an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to understanding of the disease process and therapeutic management of patients with psychiatric and neurological disorders. The topics of discussion will include the principles of biochemistry, anatomy, immunology, pathophysiology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, clinical sciences, social/behavioral/administrative sciences and medication therapy management related to the prevention and treatment of psychiatric and neurologic disorders. Numerical grading. (Offered every year.) 5 credits
