FTP 661 - Marketing, Distribution and Exhibition

Prerequisites, FTP 560, film and television producing major. An examination of the role of marketing, distribution, and exhibition in the motion picture and television industry. Topics covered include domestic and international marketing campaigns, publicity and advertising, different platforms of distribution, distributor-exhibitor relations, distribution deals, release patterns, and campaign design/implementation. Letter grade. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
