FTP 534A - Production and Set Management for Film Production (Producers)

Prerequisite, film and television producing or television writing and producing major. Analysis of procedures and problems in preparing a script for film or television production. Emphasis on the role of the production manager in breaking down scripts, setting up shooting schedules, preparing budgets, and planning post-production, as well as on-set organization, safety and chain of command. Some sections of this course may be restricted to majors and/or areas of study. Letter grade. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
