DOC 526 - Documentary Research Methodology

The goal of this course is to provide students with the skills and methodologies that are necessary to fully research the subject matters of their documentaries. The course will be taught in three modules, each covering a different mode of research. The three research modes will be: investigative journalism, ethnographic fieldwork, and legal research. Each module will be taught by an expert in that area of specialization. Letter grade. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
