ART 203 - Intermediate Sculpture

Prerequisite, ART 122. Students build on the formal and technical foundations of Objects and Space to develop an understanding of, and comfort with, the full breadth of Sculptural Practice today. New materials and technologies are investigated. Assignments given are of a conceptual (rather than formal) nature, and students are encouraged to push the boundaries of what can be considered sculpture. Fee: $75. (Offered spring semester, alternate years.) 3 credits
