MUS 461 - Psychology of Music

(Same as PSY 461.) This interdisciplinary course will explore the human perception and cognitive organization of music. Topics covered will include the neurobiology of music, psychoacoustics/music perception, music cognition, music and emotion, the cognitive development of music in children, the neuropsychology of music and music learning and behavior. (Offered fall semester.) 3 credits
