PT 643 - Motor Control and Motor Learning

Prerequisites, PT 522, PT 522L, PT 523, PT 523L, physical therapy major. Corequisite, PT 643L. This course introduces the science of motor control/motor learning including the neuromotor processes that underlie normal and abnormal movement. Theories of motor learning and mechanisms for acquisition of skill are discussed. Neuromotor and neuropsychological research are investigated and clinical implications are discussed.
