PT 522 - Functional Human Neuroanatomy I

Prerequisites, physical therapy major, PT 510, PT 510L, PT 525, with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisite, PT 522L. This course covers the normal structure and function of the human nervous system, with an emphasis on the central nervous system. Selected case studies of pathological conditions of the nervous system are presented. Students participate in both lecture and interactive laboratory sessions (PT 522L) that require them to think critically and apply their knowledge to clinical scenarios.
