PT 525 - Clinical Pathophysiology: General Medicine

Prerequisite, physical therapy major. Corequisite, PT 525L. This course provides a foundational understanding of human physiology and pathology, emphasizing general medicine diseases and disorders encountered by physical therapists. The course integrates relevant aspects of biochemistry and neurophysiology, epidemiology, pathophysiological processes, medical and pharmacological management, and implications and indications for physical therapy.
