Law and the Liberal Arts, Minor

Law and the Liberal Arts is an interdisciplinary minor that helps Chapman students reflect on the place of the law in our society, as well as prepare for law school admissions. The minor consists of courses from across the curriculum, and help you prepare to think critically and analytically in the well-rounded way typical of the liberal arts.

Students pursuing a Minor in Law and the Liberal Arts are required to:

  • Complete a minimum of 21 credits in the minor, 12 of which cannot be duplicated by coursework in the student’s major or any other minor(s).
  • Complete a minimum of 12 upper-division credits.
  • Complete a minimum of 6 upper-division credits in residence.
  • Maintain a 2.000 cumulative GPA and 2.000 GPA for all upper-division coursework.
