Bachelor of Music Performance, Vocal emphasis is intended for undergraduate students wanting to pursue voice performance. The preparation emphasis is on performance with numerous solo and ensemble opportunities. It also includes a strong music academic component, as well as the general education required of all undergraduate students at Chapman. We aspire for our students to achieve a level of proficiency that prepares them to enter a graduate voice program for a master’s degree or certificate in performance as the next step toward a professional singing career. In addition we prepare our voice performance majors to teach private voice to an appropriate age group as they matriculate out of our program.
