The mission of the Physician Assistant Studies Program is to provide a personalized and exceptional medical education, that inspires compassionate and collaborative health care providers who enhance access to high-quality care in the community. The M.M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies program prepares graduates for entry into the practice of medicine. The graduate must have the skills and knowledge to function in a broad variety of clinical situations and render a wide spectrum of patient care. It is essential for good patient care to require minimum standards for the education of the physician assistant.
