POSC 200 - Introduction to Political Theory

Prerequisites, political science major. Prerequisite, political science major. Political Theory poses questions concerning the nature of freedom, equality, justice, democracy, political obligation, power, and the validity of different political systems. This course introduces students to some of the analytical and critical methods of political theory, and to some of the debates in which political theorists are engaged. This course is required of all students majoring in Political Science. Letter grade with Pass/No Pass option. (Offered every semester.) 3 credits
