FS 444O - Film, Gender and Sexuality

Prerequisites, FTV 140 and FS 244 or FS 245. Film and media studies majors and minors have enrollment priority. This course examines the relationships among film, gender, and sexuality. Topics covered may include cinematic representations of gender and sexuality, LGBTQ issues in film, feminist film theory, censorship, transgression, screening the body, psychoanalysis and cinema.
