FS 443B - British Film and Television Post-1960

Prerequisites, FTV 140 and FS 244 or FS 245. This course presents a conceptual study of British film and television post-1960, concentrating on socio-cultural themes and their aesthetic expression. Key films and television programs from different genres are discussed as examples of cinematic and televisual traditions, illuminating the diverse composition of British identity and the ever-evolving notion of ‘British’ identity.
